General almanac layer
Checks whether the traditional calendar explicitly marks the day suitable for marriage and whether a major calendar exclusion applies.
This BaZi wedding date calculator finds Chinese auspicious wedding dates inside your real planning window, then checks each candidate against both partners' BaZi profiles and traditional marriage-calendar rules. See which dates are recommended, neutral, or excluded—and why.
Adds the Hour Pillar to your personal compatibility checks.
We use the recorded local clock time exactly as entered. The current ruleset does not apply birthplace, timezone, DST, longitude, or true-solar-time corrections.
The calculation runs in your browser. Your birth details are not sent to BaZi Days or saved by this calculator.
Category comes first, the human-readable conclusion comes next, and the number remains secondary. A high-scoring neutral date can never outrank a date explicitly recommended for marriage.
Planning by year
If you are still deciding which month to target, start with the general annual calendar. Those pages show dates explicitly recommended for marriage before partner-specific BaZi checks are applied. Once you have a realistic window, come back here to personalize it.
Personalized date selection
A Chinese almanac can tell you whether a day is generally marked suitable for marriage. BaZi Days adds a second layer: whether that date also clears the published checks for both partners using the birth information you provide.
The calculator does not claim that one date can guarantee a better marriage. It is a screening and comparison tool: first remove dates that fail the current rules, then keep recommended and neutral dates in separate categories, and only then compare eligible dates.
Checks whether the traditional calendar explicitly marks the day suitable for marriage and whether a major calendar exclusion applies.
Checks the available BaZi branches for each partner against the date, instead of treating every couple as identical.
You choose the date range and practical constraints first, so the result is a shortlist of dates you could actually use.
01 · Eligibility
A date must pass the current hard exclusions. A score cannot rescue a date that the rules already classify as excluded.
02 · Personal checks
The available birth pillars of both partners are checked. Missing birth-hour data reduces coverage rather than being replaced with an invented default hour.
03 · Comparison
Recommended dates stay above neutral alternatives. The comparison index only helps order dates inside the rules; it is not a probability of success.
The exact exclusions, point adjustments, weighting, time convention, and known limitations are published in the BaZi Days methodology.
Both partners' birth dates are required for personalized screening. Birth time is optional in the wedding-date finder: when a reliable time is provided, the Hour Pillar can add another layer of personal coverage; when it is unknown, BaZi Days labels the calculation as limited instead of guessing.
If you want to verify an individual Four Pillars chart first, use the free BaZi chart calculator with birth hour. If you want to compare the two natal charts separately from date selection, use the BaZi compatibility calculator.
BaZi Days first checks general Chinese marriage-calendar suitability and major exclusions, then checks the available BaZi branches for both partners against each candidate date. Recommended, neutral, and excluded dates remain separate so a score cannot override an exclusion.
A general Chinese almanac describes whether a day is broadly suitable for marriage. BaZi Days adds a second personalized layer by checking the available birth-profile rules for both partners and keeping the reasons visible.
No. The index only compares eligible dates under the published BaZi Days rules. It is not a probability, success percentage, scientific measurement, or guarantee of a relationship outcome.
No. Birth dates are required for both partners. A reliable birth time improves calculation coverage by adding the Hour Pillar; when birth time is unknown, BaZi Days leaves the Hour Pillar unavailable instead of guessing a default time.
No. The calculator applies a documented and deliberately limited ruleset. A practitioner may use additional lineage-specific rules, family-member checks, ceremony-hour selection, favorable-element analysis, or contextual judgment that this tool does not claim to reproduce.
